What is Beauty? We believe it's the idea of looking and feeling your best self. There are no conventions- we are ALL beautiful. As women we have tremendous power- we give birth for God's sake! Beauty by Bel is about empowering women both on the inside and out.  We are not a superficial company. We do not believe one size fits all. We believe that you have a personal style that you can capitalize on in order to feel as beautiful as we already know you are.  Our job is to unlock what is already there.

Our Story - Words from the founder

Welcome to my Baby, Beauty by Bel. I started this company for a lot of reasons, but the main one was that I realized that the everyday woman didn't have access to the services and tools that the women in magazines have, yet is expected to live up to that look. Rediculous! First of all, those women are airbrushed. Some of them are very hungry. But more importantly, nobody wakes up looking like a magazine cover.  That said, wouldn't it be lovely to wake up looking like YOUR  version of a magazine cover? Wouldn't it be great to have access to the tools and services that made you feel amazing and awesome every day?

When I was young, I was severely bullied. From kindergarten straight through college. I was extremely underweight, under developed and couldn't physically defend myself.  With so much hate in the world, I realized the absolute necessity of feeling good about who I was as a young woman. I would curl my hair, put on my favorite lipstick, don high heels and strut across campus even as insults (and sometimes objects) were hurled at me.  A gangly, flat chested girl with big hair grew into a swan.

I want everybody to feel like a swan. You deserve it. We all do! The belief I had in myself was what saved me from being a statistic. I found a way to tap  into my own beauty as a human being.  For me, this is what Beauty by Bel is all about. Bringing your inner beauty out to shine.

Bel started her career in management consulting & client service. She realized early that her passion was more geared towards cosmetics, makeup, clothes and shoes, but continued moving up the corporate ladder.  As Bel achieved higher positions, she found that people focused more on her outfits, impeccable eyelash and makeup application than her work, so she decided it was time to make a change!

Bel is a certified makeup artist, fashionista, product guru and finds that her business acumen from working in client service makes her truly understand her clients' needs. She's glad that all those years toiling in corporate America didn't go to waste! Bel's passion is making the world a better place.  She has served on the board of charities geared towards education and underserved children and enjoys volunteering in her spare time.  Bel is a girl's girl- she loves her friends and strives to empower women. Her hope for every client that walks through her door is that she will leave with more confidence to go out and conquer the world!
